Booking Policies & Guest Guideline

At East West Center Atitlán, we intentionally keep our schedule spacious and personalized so that every guest receives our full presence, care, and attention.

By booking a session, treatment, immersion, or wellness experience, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to the following policies.

Hours of Operation

Appointments are available daily between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM, subject to availability.

Advance booking is highly recommended, as availability is limited.

Reservations & Deposits

A deposit is required to confirm your appointment and reserve your practitioner's time.

Your deposit will be applied toward the total cost of your service.

Because we operate as a boutique wellness center with limited daily availability, each reservation is held specifically for you.

Guests are encouraged to arrive 15–20 minutes before their scheduled appointment to allow time to settle in and complete any necessary intake forms.

Arrivals more than 20 minutes late may result in a shortened session or cancellation of the appointment, depending on scheduling availability.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

At East West Center Atitlán, we intentionally limit the number of guests we welcome each day to ensure every experience is offered with presence, care, and personal attention.

Because your appointment reserves dedicated time with your practitioner and often prevents us from accommodating other guests, we kindly request a minimum of 96 hours (4 days) notice for cancellations or rescheduling requests.

More than 96 hours before your appointment: your deposit may be transferred once to a future appointment.
Less than 96 hours before your appointment: deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.
No-shows and same-day cancellations are non-refundable.

We understand that unexpected situations can arise and will always do our best to support you whenever possible.

Health Information

Your safety and well-being are our highest priorities.

Please disclose any relevant medical conditions, injuries, medications, pregnancy, recent surgeries, or other health concerns on your intake form before your session.

Certain services may not be suitable for all individuals and may be modified or declined at the discretion of the practitioner.

If you have questions regarding your medical condition, we encourage you to consult your healthcare provider before booking.

Wellness Disclaimer

East West Center Atitlán offers holistic wellness services designed to support relaxation, nervous system regulation, emotional well-being, personal growth, and self-awareness.

Our services are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical or psychological condition and should not be considered a substitute for professional medical, psychiatric, or therapeutic care.

Results vary from person to person, and specific outcomes cannot be guaranteed.

Personal Responsibility

By participating in our services, you acknowledge that you are voluntarily engaging in wellness activities and accept full responsibility for your own physical, emotional, and mental well-being before, during, and after your session.

Respectful Environment

East West Center Atitlán is a professional wellness space dedicated to safety, respect, and integrity.

Any inappropriate, abusive, discriminatory, aggressive, or sexually suggestive behavior toward practitioners, staff, or other guests will result in the immediate termination of the session without refund.

Payments

Cash payments in Guatemalan Quetzales (GTQ) or U.S. Dollars (USD) are preferred.

We accept most major credit and debit cards.

A 5% processing fee applies to all card transactions.

Gratuities

Gratuities are not included in our service prices.

While never expected, they are always appreciated if you feel called to express gratitude for your experience.

Children & Pets

While we love children and animals, we are unable to accommodate pets during appointments.

Children must remain under the supervision of a parent or guardian at all times.

Personal Belongings

Guests are responsible for their personal belongings.

East West Center Atitlán cannot accept responsibility for the loss, theft, or damage of personal items brought onto the premises.

Creating a Peaceful Environment

To preserve the calm and restorative atmosphere of our center, we kindly ask all guests to silence mobile phones and electronic devices during their visit.

Location & Travel

East West Center Atitlán is located between San Marcos La Laguna and San Pablo La Laguna, overlooking beautiful Lake Atitlán.

Travel times around the lake can vary significantly, especially when arriving by boat or shuttle. Please allow sufficient travel time to arrive relaxed and on schedule.
