Penetrating heat Therapy in which dried leaves of Chinese Mugwort (artemisia.vlugaris), and other healing plants called "moxa" are burned very close to the surface of the skin. the intention is to warm and invigorate the flow of qi (energy) in the body and dissipate pathogenic influences or stagnation. moxa can also be used in combination with other treatments to help improve the effective release of tight muscles, pain, chronic inflammation, or acute injury. *Ussually used in combination with other type of treatments
